Hotel Santo Stefano - Venice

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants.

Finding the hotel was a real challenge. We ended up walking for two hours after getting different directions. Upon arrival, I noticed that my room lacked proper space for unpacking luggage, as there was no closet. The staff's communication was off-putting. They required the room card upon each exit without explaining it properly.

The room was well-equipped and offered a shower, hairdryers, and bath robes, so that guests had essentials. The breakfast was amazing with croissants and fresh served coffee and rolls, had everything you could want.

Overall clean venue with excellent and lovely location very close to everything. Having a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment, and a TV set in our tastefully decorated and lovely romantic room. The staff - extremely friendly and excellent.

The room was good, with unique Venetian decor that added a local flair to the experience. I adored the generous and diverse breakfast, with freshly made scrambled eggs and an array of delicious pastries served outdoors in the picturesque square. The location was perfect, nestled in a quieter plaza yet just a short stroll from iconic attractions, great to explore the heart of the city with ease.

Major sights, just a swift stroll away from St Mark's Square. The hotel exudes a charming and intimate atmosphere, upgraded with beautiful decor and cute staff. Breakfasts were good, though I wished for more variety. A commendable stay!

I mean, how hard is it to communicate that? And the room was smaller than a closet- unacceptable. I was just hoping for an upgrade or a welcome gift to soften the blows, but apparently that's too much to ask here.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if there were more spacious areas for families, especially during breakfast.

The charming decor imbued with Venetian textiles created a good atmosphere, while the fresh, healthy breakfast served outdoors next to the quaint courtyard was a standout experience. Although the single room was compact and had a private bathroom just outside, it was manageable and perfectly suited for my needs. On the downside, there were moments when the front desk staff's communication on accessing facilities wasn't clear, and the small hallway felt a bit awkward when accessing the bathroom.

The breakfast buffet was fabulous, with warm pastries and made-to-order scrambled eggs. Our elegant room featured fine cranberry damask wallpaper and lovely views of Campo S. Stefano. The staff was helpful, alerting us about a water taxi strike just in time for our train to Lake Como. A perfect mix of comfort and Venetian charm!
